Trying to cope with the unbearable cold – a genuine priority in Germany’s capital at the moment. Melt! Booking is contributing as well by opening the doors to Berlin’s warm and cozy clubs. On Friday (3.2.), the Brookyln-based Friends (supported by Easter and Sissters) will perform at Magnet Club. Their music was described as “slick slice of indie pop with a great stuttering beat, an addictive bassline and confident vocals”, and even though, their debut album is still in the pipeline, singles like “Friend Crush” and “I’m His Girl” are ample proof to predict a new hype on the horizon.
As part of CTM.12, Hudson Mohawke will get behind the DJ booth at Gretchen mixing his trademark sound collages as heard on his debut Butter (2009) and the Satin Panthers EP (2011).

Last but not least producer and remixer Jacques Lu Cont, whose now legendary Fabric Live CD cemented his reputation as a DJ that could cover many styles so effortlessly, will be DJing at Flamingo on 16th February.
