Certain People #7 w/ Dirty Projectors, Callers, Ballet School
The next Certain People extravaganza is just around the corner with performances by Dirty Projectors, Callers and Ballet School on 1st November at the Berlin-based Berghain.
With their sixth album, Bitte Orca, Dirty Projectors finally received the praise they deserved. The Brooklyn-based band even thought they might never leave their hometown to spread their experimental sounds. However, on 6th July 2012, Dirty Projectors released yet another acclaimed album, Swing Lo Magellan, accompanied by a music film called Hi Custodian, which they will now present live at Berghain.
Callers (also from Brooklyn) will lure the crowd with a powerful front woman as well as edgy guitar sounds and odd-time signatures. On 9th October, the band released its third album, Reviver.

Ballet School, a Berlin-based band, are dedicated to revive sounds reminiscent of Cocteau Twins or The Smiths.
